JUSTICE DENIED IN RAPE CASE:HONOUR KILLING CAN BE NEXT STEP

Gang rape of Mukhtar Bibi in the village of Meerawala muzaffar Garh June. Sentenced by a tribal council to be gang-raped because of the supposed "illicit affair" of her 11-year-old brother with a young lady from a stronger tribe, Mukhtar Bibi became a cause célèbre for liberal Pakistanis and an embarrassment for the secular-minded government of President Pervez Musharraf.
Her case finished by the High Court of Pakistan and Judges definitely would be writing that due to insufficient witness available “culprits” were being released and that’s IT ! But was it that’s IT! When it happened in 2002 general mushraf was very linked with international community and everyone was close links with him ,he ordered pretending that Govt. will do this and that. And culprits will be challenged and will be punished and also Supreme Court took notice of that incident, order to arrest those rapist, powerful people and that was start of luxurious life for those who were involved (people like powerful mastois, tareens, hashmis, lagharis get 1st class treatment in jail and even sleep at home in the night and access to mobiles, phones, tv, fridge and movies and many servants serving in jail, so jail become holiday point for them)
Now Rape case finished because it was easy for Govt to do so, they always assured their powerful alias that only way to avoid public, Media and international criticism is to arrest them, put them in “luxurious” jail and then through kangaroo Courts after some time they released and then open a new track of tyranny and new history of victimization.
"Nothing will happen with women's rights, and if it does, it will take 100 years, but it has to start somewhere," says Ardeshir Cowasjee, Pakistan's eminence grise of secular commentators, and a columnist for the leading Dawn newspaper in Karachi.
The new thing which was important but was not mentioned in this case very much and was covered due to some reasons was victimization and sodomized against Abdul shaqoor brother of mukhtaran bibi who was wrongly blamed that he was involve with any girl of mastoi tribe. He was kept by mastoi tribe men for several hours and Police pretend to get him from them but latterly released getting 11000 “haza mun fazal-a-rabi” (bribe) by victim. If police could provide protection on first instance and provide justice on 1st hand incident with mukhtaran bibi could not be happened. But police did not do that and this happened.
Now High Court released 5 out of 6 people involved in this matter. These all crimes like abduction , Sodomy, rape were being done in front of thousand people around, police knew and was aware of all procedure and was “negotiating “ on some occasion for their bribe but High Court was unable to understand, found out the facts or failed to get evidence? Who will believe this? Who had no brain or who himself a criminal and had no heart. HA!
