POLITICS OF PAKISTAN

Centuries before ‘Machiavelli’ in his well renowned book ‘Prince’ said that “Politics is The Game of Immorality”. This clearly implies to the politics of Pakistan. When Pakistan came into being, people faced the biggest migration of the history in which they lost each and everything. They never did it willingly but they were misguided and exploited by the politicians of that age. From any recognized definition of a Nation, they were never a nation.Sindh, Punjab, Balouchistan N.W.F.P and Bengal, each had different cultutre, different languages, different traditions, different races and even different ways of life, so how they can be a nation but Mr. Jinnah did it by using religion as a tactical weapon which is still used by ruling politicians and even by Military invaders. The dilemma is that masses were illiterate and it was the age of Divide & Rule, from Germany to Koria, World was being divided by Communist and Capitalist blocks. So everywhere both blocks were looking for their puppets to capture some territory and it was admitted reality that Gandhi and Nehru were pro socialist so in order to cover south Asia from falling in to the hands of communist block, Ruling Britisheres made jinnah who under the supervision of his masters made a nation and forced people to migrate and to face the worst migration of the human history.since its creation, Pakistan is being run by strange and unbelievable personalilites.Nehru said that I even do not change my DHOOTI as frequently as Pakistan changes its ruler. In the beginning, politics of Pakistan was dominated by seven to ten feudal families but Mr. Ayyub widened it and by his strategy of industrialization made addition of seven to eight families. Now almost eighteen families are running the politics of Pakistan. The situation is that one brother is active member of one party and other brother is the active member of other party, so which party comes in to power, these families get their share.Furthereomore, these families have strong base in military. Either they have their cousins in military or they used to take dictation from this institution and it is admitted reality that military is so ruling authority in Pakistan and whosoever disobeys this instittution, he is either murdered or if he is not so much dangerous than he is forced to exile.Almost fifty seven years have gone but the political institution of Pakistan is deteriorating day by day just because of corrupt politicans.During this whole period, the only capable political figure came in to power was Mr.Bhutto.He was great socialist and he gave confidence to his deprived masses. His slogan of ROTI, KAPRA & MAKAN was the best concept of modern welfare state. He tried to strengthen the political institution of Pakistan on permanent basis and gave a marvelous constitution of 1973.He tried to usurp power from corrupt political feudal and military but he was hanged up by Mr.Zia and masses did nothing because they are blind and deaf.Mr. Zia ruled almost for a decade by using Islam as a tactical weapon and during his age, culutre of terriorism, kalashankoof and narcotics spreaded all over the country. During 1978,there were only twenty thousands addicts of heroine and almost one and half laces people were addicts of charas.During 1985 figure rose to almost two laces for heroine addicts and half million for chars addict, the reason was that during afghan war, drugs and weapons became common in Pakistan. There are almost 189 states in the world, no any state has mentioned the name of any leader in their constitution, and Mr Zia was so crazy that he printed his name in the constitution of Pakistan. The only thing he gave to Pakistan is Mr.Nawaz Sharif.Mr.Nawaz Sharif during his speech at General Assembly in October 1992 said that our masses will eat grass in spite of ROTI but we will not take any loan but the facts reveal that during his visit to General Assembly, he has taken four cooks for his diet with himself.Mr. Nawaz Sharif was innovatory like Mohammad Khan Tugluq.Mohammad Khan Tugluq once get up in morning and announced that he is going to change his capital and currency, he did it and state depository suffered a heavy loss and after six months he reversed the changes. With in no time, family of Mr. Nawaz Sharif became billionaire; it’s just because of Pakistani politics. When he was prime minister of Pakistan, his younger brother Mr.Shahbaz Sharif arranged an attack on Supreme Court of Pakistan. Another prominent figure of Pakistani politics and daughter of Great Bhutto is Benazir Bhutto. When she returned to Pakistan, People gave her arm welcome’s came in to power twice but what she gave to Pakistan is really astonishing. Actually, Pakistan is self sufficient in electricity even have extra electricity. In order to approve loan for her govt from I.M.F, she did agreements with International Power Production Companies that Pakistan will purchase electricity from these IPPS for almost next 35 years. These IPPS are generating with electricity with furnace oil while our own production was hydral, which is five time cheaper than furnace oil. So now our own electricity is in stocks but we are purchasing electricity from IPPS, almost 500 times costly than our hydral production.In current scenario, Pakistan is being run by Mr. Musharaf who wants to make Pakistan a modren, tolerant and progressive state. The tragedy is that when your means of coming into power are not justified than how can you justify your policies. As ‘Maose Tang’ said that “Power Comes from the Barrel of the Gun”.Mr. Musharaf used the same technique, he used his gun to come in to power, aboilshed constitution and issued his own constitution under the cover of Legal Frame Work Order. After a bitter torturing, blackmailing and harassment of politicians, he has succeeded in launching King’s Party with the co-operation of Chaudhary Brothers and selected Mr.Jamali as a Prime Minister.Staus of Mr. Jamali is same like that of Mr.Juneejo.Lets see when Mr.Jamali goes to some foreign country tour and on his return he will call to his private driver to take him from airport as had happened with Mr.Juneejo.Politics of Pakistan is dominated by corrupt political figures. They are so strong and deep routed that nobody can replace them. If anybody disobeys them than they use state sponsored terrorism against that person. Actually there is the law of might is wright.Corruption, terriorism, black mailing, honor killing & narcotics are gaining strength under the supervision of our politicians. Masses are illiterate and they are knowingly kept illiterate since the emergence of Pakistan by our ruling elites.Furthermore, agencies have divided masses on religious, cultural, linguistic, etnic and tribal basis. The underlying philosophy is that of “Divide & Rule”. Population is increasing at a vast pace but resources are decreasing so the ultimate results are unemployment, poverty, inflation & corruption. The only hope for changing political system of Pakistan is public but the tragedy is that public is so horribly divided by ruling elites that there are little chances that they will unite on any polotical,social are common issue.Moreover,majority is illiterate and living below poverty line and they are so tightly griped in living utilities by rulers that if for one day they for protest their babies will die because of hunger.However,time is a great changer and time will come when we will get rid of these deep-rooted corrupt politicians and democracy will be the strongest institution of Pakistan.
